Self-shooting Documentary PD

My specialities are history, science and archaeology programmes, but I also work on travel, food, property, and other factual documentaries, including drama reconstruction, both scripted and non-sync. I often look for actuality to inject a highly personal and lively feel to passive subjects, to film intimately and observationally, often combined with with atmospheric sit-down interviews & epic GVs.

My work covers the whole editorial process of documentary making, from development, research and scripting; producing, directing, camerawork, and edit producing. I have set up and produced large drama productions with 30+ crew and a cast of 60 filming in multiple locations over two weeks, right down to solo self-shot films.

I pride myself in building great rapport with contributors, representing the production professionally, to create memorable stories with beautiful footage.
